Meet Dr. Taylor – Children's Dentist
Dr. Rita Taylor (known as “Dr. Taylor” by our patients) received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hampton University and went to Meharry School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She completed a General Practice Residency at Meharry School of Dentistry and the Murfreesboro VA Hospital. While Dr. Taylor has practiced adult dentistry, her absolute favorite patients are kids. For this reason, she has dedicated her career to treating children for over twenty years!
Dr. Taylor is blessed with a daughter and a son. She has multiple hobbies such as dancing, traveling, yoga, and singing. (Fun fact: Dr. Taylor loves to sing to her patients and make sure they have fun during their dental visit!) Dr. Taylor’s favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption and The Joy Luck Club. She loves to be at the beach with her husband and kids whenever she’s going on a vacation!
